Tiempos de guerra es una serie de televisión española creada por Ramón Campos, Teresa Fernández-Valdés y Gema R. Neira y producida por Bambú Producciones.  La serie fue rodada por la cadena Antena 3, dentro de las instalaciones de Atresmedia en San Sebastián de los Reyes (Comunidad de Madrid).

Julio de 1921. El gobierno español lucha por mantener sus posesiones en el norte de África, en la zona del Rif, donde se enfrenta a grupos autóctonos (rifeños) que se resisten a ser dominados por el Protectorado español de Marruecos. El avance de los sublevados rifeños liderados por Abd el-Krim parece imparable, infligiendo al Ejército Español una dura derrota en la decisiva plaza de Annual.​

Oficiales y tropas huyen despavoridos en confuso tropel a través de los desfiladeros mientras son acribillados desde las alturas por los rifeños. Las bajas entre el ejército español se cuentan por miles. En los hospitales de Melilla, médicos y enfermeras se entregan a un único objetivo: salvar la vida de los soldados heridos en el frente.

Por orden de la Reina Victoria Eugenia, la Cruz Roja Española envió a un grupo de enfermeras comandadas por la Duquesa de la Victoria, con el fin de instalar hospitales de sangre en todas las zonas del conflicto. En el fragor de la batalla, son solo los sentimientos los que siguen dando fuerza y valor a los soldados españoles: la esperanza, el amor... Enfermeras y soldados, hombres y mujeres a ambos lados de la línea del fuego, testigos directos del transcurso de la guerra.

Morocco: Love in Times of War (original Spanish title: Tiempos de guerra) is a war drama set primarily in 1920s Melilla, a Spanish city located in North Africa. Occurring during the Rif War, the series revolves around a group of nurses from Madrid, Spain who are sent to Morocco by Queen Victoria Eugenia to open a hospital in the war torn region of North Africa. The nurses learn firsthand the cruelty of war, but still find time for romance. 

In 1921, Morocco is being ravaged by the events of the Rif War. The Riffian resistance in the country has killed many soldiers of the Spanish Army. To remedy this, Queen Victoria Eugenie agrees to send a group of nurses from the Spanish Red Cross to Melilla in order to establish a hospital. This group of nurses is led by the Duchess of Victoria, María del Carmen Angoloti y Mesa, and is made up of members of Spain's upper class.

The group arrives in Melilla, and set up a hospital in an old school. It is not long before they are put into action. Despite all the injuries and casualties, these nurses have not lost hope and still find time to seek romance from the soldiers and doctors that they are surrounded by. Eventually it is agreed upon that more lives can be saved out on the front lines before injured soldiers are even brought into the hospital. None of these nurses are combat trained, but some of them will now have to figure out how to stay alive on the front lines.

Seis hermanas fue una serie de televisión española producida por Televisión Española en colaboración con Bambú Producciones.

La serie está ambientada en el Madrid de 1913-1917 y cuenta la historia de las seis hermanas Silva:

• Adela (Celia Freijeiro), la hermana mayor, pilar fundamental de las hermanas Silva, es una de las mujeres más elegantes y admiradas de la alta sociedad del momento; toma la mayoría de las decisiones, es correcta, generosa, cariñosa y bondadosa; viuda muy joven, cree que el amor no volverá a tocar a su puerta;
• Blanca (Mariona Tena), es guapa, clasista, amable, elegante y educada, prometida con el rico banquero Rodolfo Loygorri (Fernando Andina), pero enamorada de su cuñado, el médico Cristóbal Loygorri(Álex Gadea);
• Diana (Marta Larralde), de fuerte carácter, sustituye a su padre al frente de la fábrica de la familia Silva, es la hermana emprendedora, cree que se infravalora a la mujer y, aunque no cuenta con encontrar el amor de su vida, su destino tiene distintos planes para ella;
• Francisca (María Castro), canta en secreto en el Cafe Ambigú pero su sueño es cantar para un público más selecto;
• Celia (Candela Serrat), le encantan las letras, estudió magisterio y su sueño es seguir estudiando, escribir y conocer mundo. Más adelante descubre que siente un sentimiento de amor hacia su amiga obrera Petra;
• Elisa (Carla Díaz), es la hermana pequeña, consentida, irascible e inmadura , sueña con encontrar un hombre de buena posición con el que pueda formar una familia. 

Las seis hermanas pasan de ser mujeres de clase alta sin ningún tipo de preocupación a dirigir la fábrica textil y los negocios de su padre, don Fernando Silva, después de la repentina muerte de éste, en una sociedad en la que las mujeres no tienen ni derecho a voto.

Seis Hermanas (English: Six Sisters) is a Spanish soap opera with 489 episodes produced by Bambú Producciones for Televisión Española.

The series is set in the Madrid of 1913 and tells the story of the six sisters Silva of upper-class who try to save the factory of their father after his abrupt death:

Valmont is a 1989 French-American romantic drama film directed by Miloš Forman and starring Colin Firth, Annette Bening, and Meg Tilly. Based on the 1782 French novel Les Liaisons dangereuses by Choderlos de Laclos, and adapted for the screen by Jean-Claude Carrière. 

A scheming widow the Marquise de Merteuil learns her secret lover Gercourt has discarded her and is about to marry her cousin's daughter - a virginal 15 year old Cécile. As revenge, the jilted Merteuil employs her ex-lover Vicomte de Valmont to seduce Cécile before her marriage to Gercourt so that the latter would be the laughstock of all Paris.

Meanwhile, after Merteuil learns Valmont is in the process of seducing a recently married honorable woman Tourvel, she and the womanizer take a bet.

Valmont received an Oscar nomination for Best Costume Design (Theodor Pištěk).

In 18th century France, the Marquise de Merteuil (Annette Bening), a beautiful wealthy widow, learns from her cousin Madame de Volanges (Siân Phillips) that Volanges' 15-year-old daughter Cécile (Fairuza Balk) has been betrothed to a middle-age man named Gercourt (Jeffrey Jones), Merteuil's own secret lover. The arranged marriage required that Cécile be raised in a convent to ensure her chastity. Angered over the hypocrisy of Gercourt's insistence on a virgin bride while keeping a lover of his own, his concealment of his upcoming marriage, and his slight of her character, Merteuil plans revenge. 

Merteuil approaches her former lover, the notorious womanizer Vicomte de Valmont (Colin Firth), and proposes that he take Cécile's virginity before her wedding night to humiliate Gercourt. Valmont is not interested in seducing a child, whom he claims would be no challenge, but is pursuing Madame de Tourvel (Meg Tilly), a married woman well known for her virtue staying at the estate of Madame de Rosemonde, Valmont's elderly aunt. 

Merteuil however, is determined to carry on her revenge. After a futile attempt to have Cécile's teenage music teacher, Danceny (Henry Thomas) who is in love with Cécile to take her virginity, Merteuil takes Cécile on holiday to Madame de Rosemonde's country estate, where Valmont had gone to pursue Tourvel. And there, without her intending to, while fulfilling her plan of revenge, she is also becoming the planning hand of Valmont's tragic destiny.

The plot of Valmont differs significantly from Laclos's novel. In the novel, Cécile miscarries Valmont's child, and at the end retires to a convent; in Valmont she is pregnant at her wedding. In the novel, letters between Valmont and Merteuil are exposed, and Merteuil is publicly ridiculed and humiliated; in Valmont, the letters are not mentioned, and Merteuil has no downfall except in the eyes of Cécile and her mother. She also does not suffer from the physical disfigurement described by Laclos in the denouement. Madame de Tourvel's future is less tragic: instead of dying of a broken heart, she returns to her forgiving and understanding older husband.

The costume is designed by Czech artist Theodor Pištěk (born 25 October 1932 in Prague) who is known for creating photo-realistic drawings and paintings, movie costumes and decorations. He won the Academy Award for Best Costume Design for the film Amadeus, and received an Academy Award nomination in the same category for the film Valmont.

He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague as a pupil of Vratislav Nejezchleba. In the 1970s, after he left the career of a car racer, he focused more on painting and art installation.

He participated in around 105 films, and his works were exhibited at dozens of exhibitions around the world. 

L'Esprit de famille est une série télévisée réalisée d'après les romans de Janine Boissard en 1982.

Au revoir là-haut est une comédie dramatique française coécrite et réalisée par Albert Dupontel, sortie en 2017. Il s'agit d’une adaptation du roman du même nom de Pierre Lemaitre, prix Goncourt 2013.

En novembre 1920, Albert Maillard est interrogé par un officier de la Gendarmerie française, au Maroc. À travers son témoignage, il raconte la fin de sa participation à la Première Guerre mondiale, sa rencontre avec Édouard Péricourt, fils de bonne famille parisienne défiguré lors du conflit. Ensemble, ils montent une opération d'escroquerie. L'histoire suit également Henri d'Aulnay-Pradelle, leur ancien lieutenant va-t-en guerre devenu lui aussi escroc et qui est parvenu à intégrer la famille Péricourt, dont le patriarche règne sur la classe politique parisienne.

See You Up There (French: Au revoir là-haut) is a 2017 French drama film written and directed by and starring Albert Dupontel, adapted from the novel The Great Swindle (Au revoir là-haut in French) by Pierre Lemaitre.

In November 1918, a few days before the Armistice, Edouard Péricourt saves Albert Maillard's life. The two men have nothing in common but the war. Lieutenant Pradelle, by ordering a senseless assault, destroys their lives while binding them as companions in misfortune. On the ruins of the carnage of WWI, condemned to live, the two attempt to survive. Thus, as Pradelle is about to make a fortune with the war victims' corpses, Albert and Edouard mount a monumental scam with the bereaved families' commemoration and with a nation's hero worship.

Les Choses de la vie est un film français réalisé par Claude Sautet et sorti en 1970. Il s'agit d'une adaptation du roman du même nom Les Choses de la vie de Paul Guimard datant de 1967.

Pierre (Michel Piccoli), architecte d'une quarantaine d'années, est victime d'un accident de la route, au volant d'une Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint. Éjecté du véhicule qui prend feu, mortellement blessé et dans le coma, au bord de la route, il se remémore son passé récent, notamment les deux femmes qui comptent dans sa vie : son épouse Catherine (Lea Massari) dont il est séparé et avec qui il a eu un fils (Bertrand), et Hélène (Romy Schneider), avec qui sa relation amoureuse est à un tournant.

Il revoit sa vie en accéléré et réalise alors l'importance de ces multiples petites choses de l'existence, « les choses de la vie », ces joies et ces peines qui constituent le bonheur de toute une vie. L'état de Pierre constitue la trame du film : sans aucune conscience de la mort qu'il est en train de rencontrer, et naïvement obsédé par sa « fatigue », son monologue intérieur tourne sans cesse autour de la nécessité de ne surtout pas laisser traîner une lettre qui donnerait un sens tout autre à son rapport aux autres. Cette lettre ne parvient finalement pas à sa destinataire : elle est déchirée, ce qui accomplit le vœu ultime de Pierre.

The Things of Life (French: Les Choses de la vie) is a 1970 French drama film directed by Claude Sautet. Based on the novel Les Choses de la vie (English title Intersection) by Paul Guimard, the film circles around a car accident experienced by the main character, and the events before and after it. The film won the Louis Delluc Prize, and had 2,959,682 admissions in France, making it the eighth highest earning film of the year.

The idea of making a film from the Paul Guimard's novel was originally turned down by multiple financiers in France. It was the fourth feature directed by Claude Sautet, and his first to become a major success.

Sautet would work with actress Romy Schneider again on 4 further projects, including Sautet's next feature Max and the Junkmen. Sautet also hired young composer Philippe Sarde to write the score. That initiated a long partnership between the two, spanning twenty-five years and eleven films.

The Things of Life was remade by American director Mark Rydell in 1994 as Intersection with Richard Gere, Lolita Davidovich (as the girlfriend) and Sharon Stone (as the ex-partner). The remake was poorly received.

In the French countryside on a summer morning, a lorry full of pigs stalls at a crossroads. An Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint swerves to avoid it and crashes into an orchard, hurling the driver (Michel Piccoli) onto the grass. As he drifts in and out of consciousness, he revisits the essential things which make up his life.

A Paris architect in his forties driving to a meeting at Rennes, he had quarrelled with his lover Hélène (Romy Schneider) the previous night. They were due to leave together for a job he was offered in Tunis but he hadn't signed the documents. But he had agreed to take his teenage son Bertrand, who lived with his estranged wife Catherine, for a holiday in the family's holiday home on the Île de Ré. Stopping at a café, he wrote to Hélène calling everything off, but did not post the letter. Driving past a wedding, he decides that the letter was quite wrong and he should marry Hélène.

Rushed to hospital in Le Mans, he does not recover. As his widow, Catherine is given his effects, including the unsent letter to Hélène. Catherine is reading it when she sees Hélène arriving. She tears it to pieces, and Hélène is told by a nurse that she is too late.

La sonata del silencio es una serie de televisión española producida por RTVE que se emitió en La 1 y que adapta La sonata del silencio, la novela de Paloma Sánchez-Garnica. Está protagonizada por Marta Etura, Eduardo Noriega, Daniel Grao, Fran Perea, Lucía Jiménez, entre otros. La primera y única temporada consta de 9 episodios de aproximadamente 70 minutos cada uno.

Sinopsis:

La acción nos sitúa en el Madrid de 1946, en plena posguerra. Los Figueroa y los Montejano son dos familias enfrentadas que viven en el mismo edificio de la madrileña Plaza del Ángel y para las cuales la guerra supuso un paréntesis. Los Figueroa lo tienen todo, y los Montejano lo tuvieron todo y ahora tratan de sobrevivir.

Ambas familias exponen sus propias desgracias y alegrías ante la mirada y el juicio del resto de vecinos, siendo el inmueble testigo de cómo es su día a día, su historia, su pasado y las relaciones -a veces turbias- entre ellos.

La protagonista principal de La sonata del silencio es Marta Ribas (Marta Etura), una mujer inteligente, culta y de buen corazón que se ve oprimida por el machismo imperante en la época, del que tratará de liberarse. Junto a ella esta su hija Elena (Claudia Traisac), que tendrá que luchar para cumplir sus deseos a la hora de elegir la vida que quiere llevar.

Synopsis:

Carlos, Rey Emperador fue una serie de televisión española. La serie narró la historia de Carlos V, uno de los hombres más poderosos que ha conocido Europa, gobernador de un imperio de proporciones tan extraordinarias como su diversidad.

A través del relato de la vida de Carlos de Habsburgo desde su llegada a España, se verá el modo en que el heredero del Imperio Germánico, de Borgoña, de los Países Bajos, del Franco Condado, Artois, Nevers y Rethel, de los territorios de la Corona de Aragón y sus posesiones italianas vinculadas y de los castellanos, norteafricanos y americanos de la Monarquía Católica crece como estadista y cómo se fortalece ante las amenazas que le rodean con los aciertos y errores de sus consejeros.

Carlos, rey emperador (English: Charles, Emperor King) is a Spanish historical fiction television series, directed by Oriol Ferrer and produced by Diagonal TV for Televisión Española. The series is a sequel to the successful Isabel and is based upon the reign of Charles I. The series tells the story of Charles I or Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor, one of the most powerful men Europe has met, the ruler of an empire as great in size as in diversity.

As the life of Charles of Habsburg is told since his arrival to Spain, it can be seen how the heir to the crowns of Germany, Burgundy, the Netherlands, the Free County, Artois, Nevers and Rethel, of the territories of the Crown of Aragon and its related Italian territories, and of the territories of the Catholic Monarchs in Castile, North Africa and the Americas, matures as a statesman and gets stronger in face of menaces around him and good and bad advice from his counselors.

Las chicas del cable es la primera serie original de Netflix producida en España. 

​En el año 1928 una moderna empresa de telecomunicaciones empieza a funcionar en Madrid. La serie narra el giro que da la vida de cuatro jóvenes mujeres, cuando empiezan a trabajar en esta empresa. Las cuatro se sienten atadas de diferentes formas a su familia, a su pareja o a sus recuerdos.

In 1928, a modern telecommunications company begins to operate in Madrid. The series tells of how the lives of four young women change after they start working for this company, which offers them decent pay and some independence. Each of the four is attached in different ways to their families, partners, or memories, but they develop close friendships among the group. The show reveals the hardships that working women faced in 1920s Spain, and especially the severe restrictions on the rights of Spanish women in a male-dominated society.
