The dressIn the film, Gene Tierney as Isabel, fiancee of Larry Darrell played by Tyrone Power, wore a wedding dress for their wedding scene. The dress was made of lace, featuring high mandarin collar and long fitting sleeves with shirring details in front of both bodice and skirt. The dress is in column shape with longer hem at the back serving as a small train. The dress was designed by Gene Tierney's then husband Oleg Cassini, which he had originally designed for his own wedding in 1941 to Tierney. Gene Tierney wore the wedding dress with a halo shaped lace cap to which her long tulle veil were attached.
